4. How is the quality of care assessed?

Families often ask about nursing home accreditation UK and how quality is maintained. Brindley Manor is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), which provides nursing home CQC ratings based on rigorous inspections. We carry out ongoing internal audits, staff training, and care plan reviews to ensure standards remain high and residents receive the best possible support.

5. Are residents safe and secure?

Resident safety is central to our approach. Alongside secure entry systems, call bells, and locks for dementia in nursing homes, we have trained staff available 24 hours a day. All safety measures are balanced with promoting independence, allowing residents to live as freely as possible while knowing help is always at hand.

For those wondering about the nursing home admission process or nursing home eligibility criteria, our approach is straightforward yet thorough. Brindley Manor Nursing Home is an original Victorian era hospital built in 1891 and situated in Droitwich, Worcestershire. Our name change reflects our recent conversion to a dedicated nursing home with new experienced management, expert clinical leads and a program of refurbishment.

Our experienced clinical and care staff provide excellent care, with a minimal requirement for agency/external staff. All for the benefit our residents and to ensure we live up to our ethos:

"We have a singular aim to ensure that our Nursing Homes are without doubt where we ourselves and our parents would want to live."

We have a modern extension that houses a large open plan summer room, cinema lounge, quiet lounge, dining room and conservatory. In addition there is a resident lounge on every floor. We especially enjoy opening up our gardens to residents as sun comes out.
